I’m Sara Freund, a proud second-generation State Farm Agent serving Solana Beach and the greater San Diego community since 2012. My journey with State Farm started right after college, when I joined my dad’s agency as a team member. Over time, I grew into the Office Manager role for my brother’s State Farm agencies in California before eventually building my own agency from the ground up. With more than 150 combined years of State Farm experience across my family, this work isn’t just a career — it’s a calling.

My husband and I are beyond proud of our two boys, Waylon and Wilder, who have grown up as part of both the State Farm family and the Solana Beach community. One of my favorite parts of this work is seeing them alongside our team at local events and watching our agency relationships extend far beyond the walls of our office.

Beyond the office, you’ll find me on the coastal hiking trails, catching live music around town — especially at the Belly Up — or spending time at the dog beach with our beloved Nala and Bogey. Solana Beach isn’t just where we work; it’s home.

We’ve been proud members of the Solana Beach Chamber of Commerce since 2017 and love supporting fellow local business owners, including helping them navigate general liability, workers’ compensation, commercial auto, and other business insurance needs. We also volunteer with the Junior League of San Diego because giving back to the community that has supported us is something we believe in deeply.

Today, our agency serves Solana Beach, Cardiff by the Sea, Del Mar, Carmel Valley, and communities throughout San Diego County, while also helping families and businesses across California, Arizona, and Nevada.
