October is here, bringing cooler evenings, fall gatherings, and one of our favorite opportunities to get out into the community. This month, you can find our team around Solana Beach and Del Mar partnering with our local first responders in recognition of Fire Prevention Week. We’ll be at the Del Mar Fire Station Open House on October 3rd and the Solana Beach Fire Station on October 31st. We’re proud to support the firefighters and first responders who do so much to protect the communities we call home, and we hope you’ll stop by and say hello!

I’m Sara Freund, a proud second-generation State Farm Agent serving Solana Beach and the greater San Diego community since 2012. My journey with State Farm started right after college, when I joined my dad’s agency as a team member. Over time, I grew into the Office Manager role for my brother’s State Farm agencies in California before eventually building my own agency from the ground up. With more than 150 combined years of State Farm experience across my family, this work isn’t just a career — it’s a calling.

Beyond the office, you’ll find me on the coastal hiking trails, catching live music around town — especially at the Belly Up — or spending time at the dog beach with our beloved Nala and Bogey. Solana Beach isn’t just where we work; it’s home.

We’ve been proud members of the Solana Beach Chamber of Commerce since 2017 and love supporting fellow local business owners, including helping them navigate general liability, workers’ compensation, commercial auto, and other business insurance needs. We also volunteer with the Junior League of San Diego because giving back to the community that has supported us is something we believe in deeply.
