I’m Sara Freund, a proud second-generation State Farm Agent serving Solana Beach and the greater San Diego community since 2012. My journey with State Farm started right after college, when I joined my Dad’s agency as a team member. Over time I grew into the Office Manager role for my brother’s State Farm agencies in California, and eventually built my own agency from the ground up. With over 150 combined years of State Farm experience across my family, this work isn’t just a career, it’s a calling.

At Sara Freund Insurance and Financial Services, our team focuses on helping families and business owners navigate life’s biggest decisions with confidence. Whether you’re relocating to San Diego, purchasing a new car, motorcycle, or electric bike, protecting your home in Cardiff by the Sea or Del Mar, or securing life, health, or business insurance - we are here for all of it, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

We’re also proud to be expanding our reach into Arizona and Nevada, where we’re actively helping business owners and commercial drivers find the right business insurance and commercial auto insurance coverage. My husband and I are beyond proud of our two boys, Waylon and Wilder, who have grown up as part of the State Farm family and the Solana Beach community. Seeing them show up alongside our team at community events, including our beloved Fiesta Del Sol, is one of the greatest joys of this work.

Beyond the office, you’ll find me on the coastal hiking trails, catching live music around town, including at the Belly Up, or at the dog beach with our beloved Nala and Bogey. Solana Beach isn’t just where we work, it’s home!

We’ve been proud members of the Solana Beach Chamber of Commerce since 2017, actively supporting local business owners with general liability and workers’ compensation insurance. We also volunteer with the Junior League of San Diego, because giving back to this community is something we believe in deeply - not just talk about.

We serve Solana Beach, Cardiff by the Sea, Del Mar, Carmel Valley, and beyond. We’re now helping families and businesses across California, Arizona, and Nevada find coverage that actually fits their lives.
